THE GOAL

Be easier to find when families search locally.

Prenatal imaging is a service people seek in a specific area. The project’s stated goal was to attract qualified local traffic through the website and Google Business Profile, with appointment interest as the intended next step.

The business already had an audience. The useful comparison was how many people arrived through organic search over the same dates in consecutive years, alongside the change in overall website activity.

THE APPROACH

Connect the search strategy. Measure the audience.

The project connected keyword targeting across the website and Google Business Profile with a review of acquisition data.

Website keyword strategy

Used a keyword strategy for the website focused on attracting relevant local traffic to the imaging business.

Google Business Profile alignment

Applied the keyword strategy to the Google Business Profile as well as the website, connecting both parts of the business’s local search presence.

Traffic performance review

Reviewed Google Analytics acquisition data against the same dates in the previous year, separating organic-search new users from overall website activity.

THE ANALYTICS

9,908 new users from organic search.

The supplied channel-acquisition chart shows Organic Search as the largest source of new users during the comparison period, with a reported increase of 45.4% year over year.

WHAT THE RESULTS SHOW

Search growth, with a clear comparison.

New-user acquisition from organic search grew by 45.4%, while active users across all channels grew by 21.0%. Both measures increased, with the larger percentage change in organic-search new users.

The report records an SEO start date of December 15, 2024. Its traffic comparison begins on December 1, so the reporting window includes two weeks before the work began. This year-over-year comparison shows reported audience growth; it does not isolate how much of that growth was caused by SEO.

For an appointment-led business, the next reporting question is how that audience connects to inquiries and completed bookings. Those outcomes are outside the figures supplied for this case study.
